This bark tan pouch features a hanging pocket on the inside. My wife wove the strap and I added leather ends and added a forged buckle for adjustments. This is also my personal hunting pouch. Andy Ordelhiede made the 60 grain powder measure out of copper. Harris Maupin made the cow horn to hold my powder. Not For Sale

This bag is made out of cowhide, goat hide and beaver tail. Strap is 6-7 oz cowhide with an oval hand forged buckle with several place for adjustment. The flap has small scallops around it and is lined with cowhide. There is a small pocket on the inside and a decent sized gusset for extra room on the bottom of pouch. 9-10 stitches per inch on the flap. SOLD
Old Mines, Missouri is a small little town situated kinda in the east-central part of Missouri. They also have a nice Black powder shoot there too. Here are some pictures that were from this event in February of 2024. Pictures were taken by my brother Earl.
This year was at a new location. It was across the street from the old location. Very nice accommodations and staff. Weather was another issue. The lowest temperature I saw was -13F air temperature with -39F windchill. Snow was all around and snow drifts caused parts of I-80 interstate to shut down. The fawn is bark tanned and the rest is a 3-4 ounce veg tan cowhide. All is handstitched with linen thread 7-8 stitches per inch. Rolled edge at top of the yoke apron.
