POTA K-10387

W0EGT and I (N0RVS) embarked on an exciting adventure, taking our ham radio show on the road to the Joe Creighton Access Area (K-10387). We persevered to find the perfect spot to set up our small HF station and make some incredible contacts.

POTA (parks on the air) is a fantastic way to enjoy nature while engaging in our favorite hobby of ham radio! W0EGT exceeded expectations by making over a dozen contacts using only 5 watts of power output before shutting down his FT8 station.

I followed suit maintaining the same energy level of five Watts RF as W0EGT did previously, considering that I just had about forty-five minutes left before it would be considered another day according to UTC time which corresponds to six pm local time; I achieved seventeen total number of contacts including one each from Croatia and Hungary both made possible via 5 Watts radiated power output within 30M band.
